SYNOPSIS: AT 4AM TODAY, THE LOW PRESSURE AREA (LPA) WAS ESTIMATED BASED ON ALL AVAILABLE DATA AT 95KM EAST OF CATARMAN, NORTHERN SAMAR (12.5°N, 125.5°E) it is embbeded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
FORECAST: Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides is expected over Bicol region, Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon. Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over MIMAROPA, rest of CALABARZON and of Visayas and Mindanao. Cloudy skies with light rains will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the northeast to northwest over Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.

Occasional rains will prevail over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Western Visayas and provinces of Marinduque and Romblon. Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Luzon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.
